Thank you for your patience while my world went upside down. If you have gone to my Etsy Page or read my previous Blogs either here or at www.BrookesDepressionJourney.com you'll know that we were trying to sell our house. We actually went into escrow twice. Our entire house was packed and put into storage. Both escrows fell out, for the same reason. The co-signer of the loan came up during the inspections and decided they didn't like the drive to get here or the house itself and refused to co-sign the loan. I felt really bad for the second prospective buyer. He wanted this house and the land SO badly. But his Mommy said NOPE. He was going to raise goats and have chickens and pigs. This place is perfect for that. I know because we've raised pigs, chickens, ducks and rabbits.
Unorganized Chaos is my life right now.
I'm one of those people that firmly believes everything happens for a reason. During the second escrow my Mother-in-Law started having health issues. We live the closest to her of her children. When our second escrow backed out it was absolutely a sign that we needed to stay. So... we have decided to stay in California for the foreseeable future. We plan to save up and remodel our kitchen and make it the open concept everyone wants. (I don't blame them, I prefer open concept as well.) Hopefully in a couple years we can try to leave again.
Which Brings Me to my Stock Situation
Everything... and I mean everything... we own has been in storage. We were eating off paper plates and some camping stuff I purchased for our move. Which means, everything I have in stock is in boxes. Boxes that are labeled but either still in storage at a storage unit, or in boxes in my garage. It's like when we first moved in here only with way more stuff. WAY more stuff. And I even tossed or sold a ton of stuff during the packing and storing process. *insert facepalm here* I am in the very slow process of moving back into our house. I don't want to bring EVERYTHING back in, because we DO plan to leave California eventually. But I have yet to find everything I have stored and in stock. We've been focused on essentials, like kitchen and bathroom, so my office isn't all back together yet. That being said... I have all my candle making stuff. I just don't have all my shipping boxes/bags/labels. I'm going to go ahead and turn on some of the products that I have, know where they are, or are made to order and I have the stuff I need to make them. Shipping them out may take a little longer, but hopefully not too much longer. We plan to empty out our last storage unit within the coming weeks. I'm fairly certain that's where all my office supplies are.
As I find my products/stock/materials, I'll be opening those up for ordering. If there's something you are looking for and can't find it, please message me.
