March 2022

Updated: Mar 1, 2022

This Blog Post will be covering February Review, A little about Me, New Products, Social Media

Brooke's Crazy Creations, A Variety of Homemade, Hand Crafted Products for Every Occasion.

Thank you to everyone who subscribed this past month. It made my heart oh so happy to have new subscribers! As promised, here is my monthly Blog. I do NOT plan to SPAM y'all with a ton of emails or Blogs. Honestly, I just don't have the time for spamming. AND I know how much I don't like it. I end up not reading them when I'm getting 15 a week. Once or twice a month is more than enough for me, and for you. Not to mention, I just don't have the kind of time that spamming requires. I just unfollowed a dozen people who PROMISED not to spam me and then did just that. I can't handle the constant barrage of stuff. As much as I'd love to support them, I don't want junk in my email.

Thank you to all the new buyers here. I am so excited to bring you new products as well as some requested favorites. What I'm liking about the website, as opposed to Etsy, is the freedom to write about and post all the new things and I can give more options here than there.

February in Review

February was oh so Crazy. I started off the month taking pictures, (with the help of Wyatt,) of Products I have made but just haven't had the opportunity to take pictures of. So together we got a bunch of those done and then posted. Check out all the new products here. There were even a few that I hadn't planned to post.

February was also Tax month. So getting all that together in the midst of new product launches and the classes I've been taking was a little overwhelming, but we made it through. (Because of the February craziness there are a couple products I'd hoped to post in February and just ran out of time. So they will be coming THIS month!)

Speaking of... the business courses I've been taking have been amazing. If you own a small business and have the opportunity for taking classes, I highly recommend it. (And take notes!) There's so much I didn't know about running an online Boutique. I'm grateful that there are people that create those opportunities for small business owners.

Here's what's coming to Brooke's Crazy Creations in March.

SPN Bath and Body Products

Something I'd hoped to happen in February, but was pushed to March. Check out the New Line of Bath, Body and Spa Products with a Supernatural Flair. Check out Dean's Lemon Meringue Lip Scrub, Follow it with a little Moose's Holistic Citrus Lip Balm. You'll fall in love with Ellen's Killer Margarita Lotion. Labels are being created for these this month, and photos will be taken.

Pillow Mist Spray

Pillow Mist Spray. Another I was hoping to have up in February... I've been using this for years now. I have a hard time falling and staying asleep. Insomnia has always been a challenge. Whenever I use this Pillow Mist Spray I'm enveloped with calming scents that help to create a relaxing environment. I've only ever given these out as gifts, and have always gotten the same review of it that I, myself, feel about it. I'm having issues with the Label Design. But hope to have this all up and ready by the end of March.

Paintings

I still have a bunch of paintings over on Etsy that need to be posted here. I'll be working on that this month. My goal is to get them moved over here and take them off Etsy all together. *See the Etsy Topic below for the reason.*

Lotion Bars

I absolutely LOVE my all natural lotion bars. I used to keep one on my bathroom counter and as soon as I was done washing my hands I'd take a quick swipe. I love the way they melt into my skin, leaving them soft and moisturized. I have many wrapped in cellophane and need to buy more of that. They stick a little too much to the tissue paper. Pictures of them in the cellophane have been taken and will be posted as soon I get them edited. Lighting in my house is ridiculous. I don't keep them on the counter because we're trying to sell our house. But I'll have them back on the counter in the next house.

Knitting

I still have a bunch of knitting that needs to be posted here. I'll be working on that this month. I have a bunch of baby products I had been hoping to use for props for Newborn Pictures, but I don't think my body is going to allow me to pursue that avenue as I'd once hoped to do. So... they'll all be going up for sale soon. I LOVE knitting baby clothes and baby products. They're so much fun.

Etsy and Me

Etsy is once again redoing their policies and fees. Which means they're screwing the seller, again. They raised their prices by 1.5% which may seem like it's not a lot, but it is. They're already charging us to post the listing, then the take a fee for all transactions and another for processing. I paid more in fees than I got for several of my listings last year. Thanks to that, I'm having to move all my Bath and Body products to the Website only. I can't afford to raise the price of my products over there. It's not fair to you as a customer, or me as a seller. I'm also not allowed to start my Supernatural line over there thanks to copywrite infringement.

That's what's up for March. Thank you for subscribing! Brooke Penney Owner and Creator of Brooke's Crazy Creations
